The Town of Churchbridge is a welcoming and inclusive community, which is centrally located, whether for work or play.  We pride ourselves on having an excellent school system and being community focused. Located along Highway 16, between the Manitoba border and 50 km east of Yorkton, we are home to a daycare and a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school. We are in close proximity to the Mosaic Potash Mines, and we are definitely a growing community.

Our population has increased by 40% per cent and our school enrolment has grown by more than 50 students since 2009.  The Town of Churchbridge would like to invite you to visit our community and explore all we have to offer.

Whether it’s recreation, leisure or rejuvenation, Churchbridge Welcomes You!

A common attraction, especially for visitors traveling through the town, is the Canada Dollar Coin located in the town on the south side of Highway #16 on Bridger Road. The Town of Churchbridge constructed this monument to commemorate Rita Swanson, the artist resident of Churchbridge, whose design was chosen to mark Canada's 125th birthday in 1992. With a diameter of six feet,
it is definitely worth the time to stop and check out what is possibly the largest loonie you will ever see! You may have seen this monument listed on the "" website which is dedicated to the fantastic and awe inspiring monuments built
by communities all over Canada.

On the south edge of Town is a beautiful 33-site campground, including 29 electrical sites. The campground offers hot showers, a modern washroom, sewer-dump station and firewood, and is located on Highway #80.  Because our campground is primarily run by a group of very dedicated senior volunteers, we are unable to take reservations.  Please choose your campsite, set up, relax and the volunteers will be around to collect nightly fees prior to your departure.

Churchbridge Aquatic Centre (CAC)
Our community is very proud of the new swimming pool, built in 2011.  With a beach-entry shallow end, the Churchbridge Aquatic Centre (CAC) is perfect for the very young who may want nothing more than to dip their toes, all the way to those with mobility issues – no steps, stairs or sharp drop-offs, just a gradual beach-style entry and exit.  The Aquatic Centre has a child-friendly super-wide water slide, a diving board and fun water features.  In addition to ample opportunities for public swimming, our drop-in programs include Aquacize, Lane Swimming, Special Needs and Seniors’ Swims, all held under the watchful eye of our certified lifeguards.  The CAC also holds swimming lesson sessions under the Lifesaving Society Learn to Swim program.  For more information about the Churchbridge Aquatic Centre and pool schedules, please visit

Churchbridge is a place where “down time” can be filled with opportunity.  We have a very dynamic recreation and sports community.  In the winter our rink is home to minor hockey, CanSkate and adult recreation hockey; we have an active Curling Club which hosts regular curling nights and bonspiels, and opens its doors to our school so that our youth have the opportunity to learn this life-long sport.  We have an active walking group that utilizes our Community Centre every weekday morning for fitness and socializing; and in the summer it’s Minor Ball, golfing at Antler Acres, the annual Kevin Kaminski Golf Tournament, and June Daze!

June Daze
June Daze is the annual summer fair, hosted by the Churchbridge Business Association, and is held the second weekend of June.  Events and attractions include town-wide garage sales, numerous food booths and business promotions, a children’s indoor play area, a chicken supper hosted by the Churchbridge Lions Club, CJGX’s Star Search and the weekend is capped off with a cabaret hosted by the Churchbridge Adult Rec hockey teams.  Closer to June Daze, more details and a schedule can be found on the Churchbridge Business Association’s Facebook page.

Arts and Leisure
Churchbridge also has a very artistic and nurturing side.  Our Library and Cultural Centre serves as a studio for our community’s artists, our drama club (the Churchbridge Players) and the Photo Archives Club.  Churchbridge is home to the Evergreen Club, our senior citizen’s meeting place.  The Evergreen Club hosts regular get-togethers for card games, birthday parties, dances, shuffleboard, and potluck suppers.  Take time to visit Memorial Park as you enter our downtown area, or have a look at the many murals depicting our community’s history and the Wall of Honour honouring our war veteran, located in the Community Centre.

Business Community
Our vibrant business community includes shops ready to pamper – estheticians, hair studios and massage therapists – and Sagebrush Studios, a beautiful clothing and gift boutique. We have a Co-op Food store and Co-op Lumber and Farm Supply.  We have a variety store with liquor outlet, a Credit Union with ATM and The Rum of the Mill Bar.  Please visit our online business directory or the Churchbridge Business Association Facebook page.
