Originally the Churchbridge & Community Centennial Arena, the Kaminski Arena is a place to be in the winter in Churchbridge. Home to Minor Hockey teams, CanSkate, and Senior Hockey, between October and March there is always something happening at the rink. All of the activity and programming that takes place at the Arena is Volunteer run through the Kaminski Arena Board and the Churchbridge Minor Sports Hockey and CanSkate programs. Minor hockey and canskate registration typically takes place in September. Check the Minor Sports Facebook group for regular updates about registration nights and other important information.
In November 2019, the Churchbridge & Community Centennial Arena was officially renamed “Kaminski Arena” in honour of local athlete and NHL alum, Kevin Kaminski.

Minor hockey in Churchbridge starts in mid-to-late October and concludes by early-to-mid March. Children as young as four or five can join the Pre-novice team, and stay in the Churchbridge Minor Hockey system until they graduate from high school.
CanSkate, is just that . . . a fun learn-to-skate program for kids, headed by a certified instructor. We have children as young as 3 years-old striving for their first badge, with some older participants obtaining badges at much higher levels and taking part in area competitions. The season concludes with an Achievement Day in early March.
The Churchbridge Imperials Senior Hocky Club is our Saskatchewan East Hockey League home team. Senior Imperials home games are always a big night in the Town of Churchbridge so keep an eye out for their 2025 lineup on their Facebook Page Churchbridge Imperials Senior Hockey Club.
