Sport Court

With the support of the Town of Churchbridge, and driven by volunteer fundraising and participation, the pavement for the Churchbridge Sport Court was poured in the summer of 2016. There are still paving bills to pay and enhancements to be made to the Sport Court, so fundraising will continue.

In addition to having the “groundwork” completed, one of the greatest successes of the construction of the Sport Court came in March 2016. Churchbridge residents and supporters logged in 395,813 minutes of physical activity in 10 days to win the top prize of $10,000 in the Saskatchewan In Motion Go Out & Play Challenge, sponsored by Saskatchewan Blue Cross. Churchbridge finished the challenge in second place in 2017, receiving $5,000 for Phase 2 of the project.
