FEES

• $15 per 1/2 ton load of household garbage
• Dump Trailer – $50.00 per Axle.
• Grass, leaves and garden waste are accepted free of charge if it is in a paper bag or loose

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ELECTRONICS AT THE TRANSFER SITE. They are to be put into the red Sea- Can Shipping Container at the Transfer Site. Click here for a list of items accepted. Click here for a list of items not accepted. There is no fee for this service.

TOWN RESIDENTS PLEASE NOTE- SPRING OR FALL YARD CLEANING PICK- UP- Grass, leaves and garden waste are accepted free of charge if it is in a paper bag.

Please have any garden waste placed in paper bags (NOT plastic grocery or black/green garbage bags), boxes or cans (cans will be dumped and left for you) by your front yard area. Because not all back alleys in town are accessible, pick-up will continue to be from the front of the yard. Branches will be accepted but must be less than 4 feet in length.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS (EXCLUDING SHINGLES) – Book a 6-yard container at the Town Office for $175+GST per empty (bins must not be filled over the top). Containers will be delivered to the residence with the week running Wednesday to Wednesday. Agreements and information for booking construction material containers can be obtained at the Town Office.

METAL – Metal can be taken to the Transfer Site at no charge. This includes appliances, yard tools such as lawnmowers, weed whippers and chainsaws, and assorted metal. Cars are not accepted at the Transfer Site. Fridges and stoves must have the door removed. All tools must be drained of oil and fuel before going out to the site.

WEATHER- The Transfer Site will not be open in Winter if the temperature is below -30 degrees Celsius, without windchill.  Also, the Transfer Site will not be open in the summer if the temperature exceeds +40 degrees Celsius.

The Town of Churchbridge has a “Harassment Free” Policy regarding ALL Employees – Including Landfill Attendants.
